6E Club App: Android APK, Play Store and the iPhone Home Screen

Checked · 6E Club help guide

The 6E Club app is the Android version of 6E Club: the same videos, channels, player and account as the website, packed into an app with bottom tabs, a share-sheet entry and links that open straight into a video. This page explains what it does, where the real APK will be published, what the app does not ask your phone for, and how iPhone users get an icon without an App Store download.

It also compares the app with the browser honestly, because for many people the website is enough. If a file called the 6E Club app reached you by chat or from a download site, read the fake APK section before you install anything.

What the 6E Club App Does

The app is built from the same code as the website, so there is no feature gap in the player: adaptive quality, subtitles, picture-in-picture, resume, Favorites, playlists, history, comments and Shorts all work the same way. What changes is the shell around them. Instead of a header and menus, the app has five bottom tabs that fit a thumb on a phone.

HomeFor you, Following and trending rowsThe homepage feed
ShortsThe vertical swipe feed/shorts/
UploadPick a video from the gallery and fill in the details/upload/
LibraryHistory, Favorites, playlists and liked videos/library/
YouYour channel, studio, settings and sign-out/studio/ and /settings/

Two things only an app can do are the reasons most people install it. First, the share sheet: when you tap Share in your gallery or a chat app, the app appears as a target, so uploading a clip you just recorded is two taps. Second, deep links: a video address opened from a message goes straight into the app player instead of a browser tab, with your account already signed in.

What it does not do

The app has no offline mode of its own. A video can be saved only when its uploader switched downloads on, in which case the MP4 goes into the app's storage. There is no live streaming, no earnings dashboard, no chapters and no TV version in this release. Anything on a download page that promises those for the 6E Club app is describing something else.

The Android APK: Where the Real File Lives

An APK is the install file for an Android app. The one for the 6E Club app is signed with our own key, and the only place it is published is the download block at the top of this page. When the first build is live, that block shows the download link, the file size and the SHA-256 checksum of the file, next to the package name and the signing-certificate fingerprint it already lists. Until then there is nothing to download, and any APK that already claims to be ours predates the real one.

A checksum is a fingerprint of the file. Any change to the file, even a single byte added by someone who repackaged it, produces a different fingerprint. That is why the checksum sits next to the link: it lets you prove on your own phone that the file you downloaded is the file we published. The certificate fingerprint does the same job for the signing key, and it stays the same from one version to the next, so a copy signed by someone else can never show it.

Install the 6E Club App on Android

Installing an APK outside the Play Store takes one extra permission step, which Android asks for the first time any browser installs an app. The steps below use Chrome; Samsung Internet and other browsers show the same prompts with slightly different words.

  1. Open this page in your phone's browser and tap the download link in the download block on this page.
  2. When the download finishes, tap the file in the notification shade or in your Downloads folder. Android may say the browser is not allowed to install unknown apps: tap Settings, switch on Allow from this source, and go back.
  3. Play Protect scans the file and shows the app name and the permissions it requests. Compare them with the list in the permissions section below; then tap Install.
  4. Open the app, sign in with the account you use on the website, or create one in a minute.
  5. Optional: go back to Settings and switch Allow from this source off again, so no other download can install silently later.

If the install button is greyed out

Some phones dim the Install button while a screen-overlay app, such as a blue-light filter or a floating chat bubble, is drawn over the installer. Close that app for a moment and the button becomes active. A "not enough space" message needs a few hundred MB free; clearing a browser cache or old chat media is usually enough on a budget phone.

Verify the checksum before you install

Most file-manager apps can show a SHA-256 for a file, and a laptop can do it with one command. Compare the result with the value printed in the download block. They must match exactly; a near-match is a mismatch. This takes under a minute and is the single strongest check against a repackaged copy. Google's own guide to how Play Protect scans apps explains what the on-device scan covers and what it does not.

Play Store Listing: Coming Later

A Play Store listing for the 6E Club app is planned after the APK release. When it is live, this section will link to it, and the Play Store becomes the easiest source because updates install themselves. The developer name on that listing will match the organisation named on the about page; a listing under a different developer, even with the same icon, is not ours.

Until that day, the APK on this page is the only release channel. Search results in the Play Store that show the name today belong to other developers, and installing one of them does not sign you into this platform.

Permissions the 6E Club App Never Asks For

A video app needs very little from your phone. This one reaches the internet to stream and upload, asks for access to your photos and videos only at the moment you tap Upload, and asks to show notifications only if you turn on the bell for a channel. That is the whole list. The table below is what it never requests, and it is the quickest way to recognise a copy.

Permissions a real build never requests
PermissionWhy a fake app wants itWhat to do if asked
ContactsTo spam your friends with the same fake linkDeny and uninstall
SMS or call logsTo read one-time codes and bank messagesDeny and uninstall
Precise locationTo profile and resell youDeny and uninstall
Accessibility serviceTo read and tap inside other apps, including payment appsDeny, uninstall, change passwords
Device adminTo stop you removing the appDeny; remove admin rights in Settings, then uninstall
Install other appsTo drop more malware laterDeny and uninstall

If an installer screen or a running app asks for any row in that table, stop. A real build has no code path that uses them. The real-or-fake checklist covers the other signs, such as a wrong domain in the sign-in screen or a request to pay for a code.

iPhone: Add the 6E Club App to the Home Screen

There is no iOS app yet. The website is built as a web app, so Safari can put it on the home screen with an icon, a splash screen and no browser bar. It uses the same account and the same player, including picture-in-picture, and it takes under a minute. These steps are for Safari; other iPhone browsers cannot add web apps to the home screen.

  1. Open the login page in Safari and sign in, so the icon opens signed in.
  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of Safari, the square with an arrow pointing up.
  3. Scroll the sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Keep the name 6E Club or shorten it, then tap Add in the top-right corner.
  5. Find the icon on your home screen and open it: the site loads full-screen, without the address bar.

The home-screen version receives updates on its own, because it is the live website. Apple's guide to saving web pages on iPhone shows the same Share-sheet steps with screenshots, and MDN explains what makes a website installable in more depth.

What the home-screen icon cannot do on iPhone

Because it is the website, the icon cannot appear in the iPhone share sheet, so uploading starts from the Upload button inside the app rather than from the Photos app. Links from chats open in Safari first and then show the same page, signed in. Storage use stays tiny, since nothing is installed beyond the icon and a small cache, which also makes it the right choice for an older iPhone with little free space.

Android browsers can do this too

If you would rather not install an APK, Chrome on Android offers Add to Home screen from its menu, and the result is close to the app: an icon, full-screen view, and the same sign-in. You lose the share-sheet target and deep links, which are the two real reasons to install the APK.

6E Club App or Browser: Which One Should You Use?

The honest answer is that both are good, and the difference is convenience rather than features. A viewer who mostly watches a few videos a week is fine in the browser. A creator who uploads from the phone gallery every day will prefer the app. The table lays it out.

Whichever you choose, everything you do syncs through your account, so you can watch in the app on the bus and continue in the browser on a laptop from the same second. The watching features themselves are described in the guide to watching on the platform.

How Updates Reach the 6E Club App

A Play Store install updates on its own, usually overnight on Wi-Fi. An APK installed from this page does not, because Android has no way to know where it came from. The app checks for a newer release when it starts and shows a small banner with a link back to this page. Download the new file, open it, and Android installs it over the old one; nothing is lost, because your data lives in your account, not in the file.

Each new release will be listed in the download block with its own checksum. A version with a different checksum from the one printed here is not an update from us. If an "update" arrives by chat message, delete it; we never send APKs by message.

Fake 6E Club App Files: What to Watch For

Any app with a few users attracts copies, and the name here is shared with other sites, so copies exist. A fake 6E Club app is usually a repackaged file with extra code: a sign-in screen that posts your password to another server, a request for SMS access to read one-time codes, or a page that asks you to pay a small fee to activate. Some are plain adware; some empty bank accounts.

The defence is boring and reliable: install only from this page or the Play Store listing once it exists, compare the checksum, refuse every permission in the table above, and never pay anyone to unlock anything. If you already installed a copy, uninstall it, change the password you typed into it, and check your SMS and bank alerts for the next few days. The real-or-fake guide has a longer list of tells, and the customer care page explains how to tell us about a copy so we can get it taken down.

Money lost to a fake app is a cybercrime. Report it at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930 as soon as possible, because banks can sometimes freeze a transfer in the first hours.

One Account for the App and the Website

Create your free account now and it is ready the day the app ships: your history, Favorites, playlists and channel carry over, and uploading from the gallery becomes two taps.

Installing Apps Safely

Every APK you install outside a store is a trust decision. Keep Play Protect on, keep Allow from this source switched off between installs, and treat a permission request that does not match the job of the app as a reason to stop. A video app that wants your SMS is not a video app.

Teenagers get sent fake app files more often than adults because the files spread through group chats. Parents can turn on Play Protect scanning and restrict unknown-source installs in Family Link on a child's phone; the parents' section of the safety guide walks through those settings and the age rules for an account.

Accounts are for people aged 13 and over; mature-content settings need 18+. Every video, comment and channel has a Report button, and reports are reviewed by people. Never share your password or a one-time code with anyone who contacts you in the name of 6E Club. Read the online safety guide for phones.

Questions People Ask

Is the 6E Club app free?

Yes. The Android app costs nothing to install and nothing to use. Watching, uploading, following and playlists are all free, and there are no in-app purchases in this version. If a download page or a chat message asks for a fee, a registration charge or a code to unlock the app, it is not from us.

Where do I download the 6E Club app?

From the download block on this page, once the signed APK is published there with its SHA-256 checksum, and later from the Play Store listing that will be linked in the same block. Those are the only two sources. Files that arrive by WhatsApp, Telegram or a third-party APK site are not ours, even if they carry the name and logo.

Is there a 6E Club app for iPhone?

Not yet. iPhone users add the website to the home screen from Safari, which gives an icon, a full-screen view and the same account, lists and player. An iOS build is planned for later, and this page will say so when it exists. Nothing in the App Store under this name today is ours.

Does the app use the same account as the website?

Yes. Sign in with the email or username and password you created on the website and your history, Favorites, playlists, followed channels and channel settings are all there. The app keeps you signed in for 30 days, the same as the browser, and signing out on the website does not sign you out of the app.

Can I watch 6E Club videos offline in the app?

Only a video whose uploader allowed downloads can be saved, and then as the MP4 file. There is no general offline mode in this version. If a video has no Download button, it streams only, and any app that claims to download everything from the platform is not ours and may carry malware.

How do I update the 6E Club app?

If you installed from the Play Store, updates arrive automatically like any other app. If you installed the APK from this page, come back here when a new version is announced, download the new file and install it over the old one; your account and lists stay. The app also tells you when a newer version exists.

The 6E Club App in Short

The 6E Club app is the website in an Android shell: the same player, account and lists, plus bottom tabs, a share-sheet target and deep links. The signed APK and its checksum will be published in the download block, with a Play Store listing to follow, and the app never asks for contacts, SMS, location or accessibility access. iPhone users get an icon from Safari in under a minute.

If you are new, start with a free account so the app signs in on day one, then read how uploads and processing work before you share your first clip. For anything that goes wrong, from a stuck install to a sign-in error, the help pages linked below cover the usual fixes.
